From morning greetings to playground laughs and hands-on learning moments, our dedicated staff is the heartbeat of our center. Each member is not only CPR and First Aid certified, but brings years of experience, compassion, and creativity to the classroom. We work together to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel supported, inspired, and loved. Whether it’s guiding a toddler through first steps or preparing preschoolers for kindergarten, our team is here to help every child grow with confidence and joy.

Do you enjoy tiny humans with big personalities?

Do you believe snack time is a sacred event and that a good dance party can solve almost anything?

Then we might have the job for you!

Young Scholars Child Care Center is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our amazing growing team. You won’t be alone — you’ll be part of an experienced team that already works together in this age group, ready to welcome another caring adult into the mix.

Your Days may Include:
 🧸 Building block towers (and rebuilding them after enthusiastic destruction)
📚 Reading the same book… several times… in one sitting
🎨 Creating masterpieces with paint, glue, and sometimes a little yogurt
💃 Toddler dance parties that rival any nightclub

Don’t worry if you’re new to the field.

Your Days may Include:
DCFS requirements and standards
The State Quality Rating System (ITERS)
Gateways of Opportunity professional development
INCCRRA systems and training
Prior experience or education in early childhood will receive priority, but it is not required. What matters most is kindness, patience, and a sense of humor (toddlers will test all three daily).
