Associates Degree in Science, ECE Level I, Pursuing Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education
Hello, I am Miss Cheyenne. I have an Associates in Science from McHenry County College and I am currently enrolled in the University of Phoenix to get my Bachelors in Elementary Education. I have worked with children of all ages since I was in 8th grade while being a cheerleading coach for 5 years. I then worked as a summer camp counselor at Biltmore Country Club in Barrington for 3 years so I have a lot of experience with children of all ages. I have a very large family and I am very close with them and we love to spend time together. I am going to be an aunt for the first time in May and I cannot wait to meet my nephew. My hobbies include photography, greeting card making, and really anything that involves being in nature and being creative. I spend a lot of time swimming, fishing, and playing with my dogs in the summer. I hope to be able to travel in my life and go to Greece, the Bahamas, Italy, Spain, and hopefully many more. I took 4 years of Spanish in high school so I have knowledge of the Spanish language and would love to experience the culture. My goals are to graduate with my Bachelors and become an Elementary teacher and to overall grow as a teacher at Young Scholars.

My name is Miss Jeannine. I have been working at Young Scholars since January of 2001 and I look forward to many more years. Before I came to work at Young Scholars I worked as a Camp counselor and I was the lead teacher at a before and after school program in Wauconda for 3 years.
When I first started working at Young Scholars, I was in the Infant room for 14 years and in 2015 I wanted a little more of a challenge so I am now working in the two-year-old and it is has been the best experience ever!!
I currently have my CDA in Infant and Toddlers. I reside in Ingleside IL with my husband, my two boys and our dog, Athena.
As a family we really enjoy bowling. My boys are on a bowling league and on a traveling bowling team and my oldest son bowls on a team for his high school so bowling is a very big part of our lives! I never thought that I would be a bowling mom and work at an amazing daycare for so many years.
The best part of my job is knowing that you have made such a big impact on someone’s life.

She studied Elementary Education at Western Illinois University for 2 years before
realizing she wanted to work in the Early Childhood field.
Jennifer began working with children in 2000 when she
worked at a summer day camp as a swim instructor.
Jennifer then worked at the Central Lake YMCA in Vernon
Hills for about 12 years in the infant room. She loves
working with the babies, but enjoys the toddlers as well. She is always researching ways to
keep the babies busy by art projects, activities and hitting
developmental milestones. Jennifer has two boys of her own who she enjoys doing fun things with on the weekends.
